Im going to get a ps3 so what games should I get, This includes downloadable games.

It really depends on what you’re into. For Shooters the well known ones are Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty 4/5, Uncharted 2 (also has platforming and apparently an amazing game). If you’re into more role playing you could wait a while and get Final Fantasy 13 when it comes out, there’s always Valkyria Chronicles (although you’d have to look pretty hard to find it), and I heard that Tales of Vesperia is coming to the PS3 eventually. These two genres are really the only ones I play, so for any other genres you’d need to talk to someone else.

Accessories; my view: uneccessary. The only thing that I would say to get would be a mic if you plan on playing online, the rest is just anything you actually NEED to use, everything else is a waste IMO.

I just got my 40 gb ps3 and I was wondering if ya could tell me some good games and also good accessories that you recommend. and also when you list the games/accessories, can you explain why you recommend it.

A great accessory i use every day is PlayTV which is essentialy a freeview tuner for your ps3 letting you watch record or rewind TV through your PS3.

I’m about to trade my xbox 360 (with red rings) for a PS3 with video problems how much do you think this will cost to fix and/or is it covered under factory warranty like the red rings is?

If the ps3 is under 1 year old, you can get it fixed free, but if its over, it costs $150

usually most video problems can be solved without paying anything. If the ps3 turns on and there is no display, you can try resetting video settings by holding the power button for 5 seconds

Being able to play downloadable Playstation 3 games is great.  Especially when you can get all of your favorite ps3 games.  You may not know where to get them from or which ones you can get.  So, what I’m going to do is share with you some downloadable Playstation 3 games.

That way, you can have a lot of fun playing your ps3.

The downloadable games for your Playstation 3 are:

1.  Grand Theft Auto IV.  This is an incredible game that you should get for your PS3.  If you haven’t played GTA4, you are really missing out on a lot of fun.  I highly recommend you get this one as soon as you can.  You’re going to love playing it.

2.  Call of Duty 4.  This is another great game that’s downloadable for the Playstation 3.  Call of Duty 4 is awesome.  If you are a fan of Call of Duty, you’re going to really like this one.  So, make sure you get it.

3.  Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.  This is another one of the downloadable Playstation 3 games.  If are a Mortal Kombat fan or DC Universe fan, you will really like this game.  If you haven’t played it yet, go ahead and download it now.  You’ll love it.

4.  Rockband.  This game is fun.  You should play this with your friends.  It’ll be so fun.  If you haven’t played it yet, make sure you get it.

These are some downloadable Playstation 3 games.  Actually, there are hundreds of games you can download to your PS3.  So, if you really want to have fun with your console, make sure you get the games that I mentioned above.

I have a home network using 3 PC’s running windows XP. I also have a ps3 which accesses the internet perfectly on the same network, but i cannot send video files for example to the PS3. My McAfee security software recognises the PS3’s presence but that’s it. Are there hidden firewalls perhaps? Appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

thre is chance for firewall on pcs and so disable the firewalls
>check the ip on ps3 and then try ping the ip of ps3 for all 3 pcs and check if ur gettign replies.
if yes then it should be fine
>if ps3 has a browser then type ip of ur pc in address box(http://192.168..x.x) and try accessing file that might work

I transferred all of my ps3 games from my old ps3 to my new one but now when I play them on the new one they won’t save. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or did I transfer them wrong?

I want to play more jrpgs, but I’m not sure which ones are any good.
Give me your opinions and why the game is good.

And does anyone know when tales of vesperia is coming to the ps3, I know it will be coming because Japan already has it for the ps3.
I know it’s sad that there are barely any jrpg’s and I’m excited for Final Fantasy 13!
I think after final fantasy and the white knight chronicles come out then there will be more jrpg’s, at least we can hope.

They work fine on my desktop computer (both audio and video) but only the video works on the ps3. what’s wrong and how do i go about fixing it?

it’s simple
the ps3 doesn’t support the audio codec used
the solution is either convert it to a usable format or stream it using the media server feature and use a media server that auto converts
