Are the Playstation 3 consoles different in North America and Europe? Or are all of the consoles the same and just the games that are different for different regions?
The reason I ask is I want to buy a new ps3 Slim 120GB version on Ebay, but the seller doesn’t say what version it is.
I’m worried about buying a console on Ebay and it ends up being a European version and I can’t use it with North American games.
the games aren’t region coded but the systems are different
european , japanese , north and south american consoles all use different power supplies ( not everyone uses the same voltage etc. worldwide ) and some countries use ntsc while others use pal TVs so the outputs are different
go to wal-mart , gamestop , bestbuy or wherever and pick one up
