I have set-up a ps3(with hd cable) to a 28′ sanyo 1080p lcd tv with a 1000watt 7.1 RCA home theatre system and i want to use it to the fullest, so i’m wondering what movies and games i could get to that.

Ive bought an HDMI to DVI cable, so then i can plug in my ps3 to my computer monitor.
But how can i get the sound ? Are they any other ways? Same with my TV would it work with sound using my tv thourgh hdmi-dvi ?

HDMI sends both video and audio.

However the DVI is only video

Plug the audio connectors on your ps3 to your speakers or amplifier

Or use the Optical connector to do the same thing.

BTW: I use my PS3 hooked up to my plasma hi-def TV using HDMI and use the optical out on the PS3 to connect to my amp.

I just got my 40 gb ps3 and I was wondering if ya could tell me some good games and also good accessories that you recommend. and also when you list the games/accessories, can you explain why you recommend it.

A great accessory i use every day is PlayTV which is essentialy a freeview tuner for your ps3 letting you watch record or rewind TV through your PS3.

My brother has a ps3 so I want some good games to play on it. I’m not really interested in war or racing games, and have already done the demo of LittleBigPlanet (I’m gonna get it).
What else might I be interested in?

There are tons of downloadable games on PSN that you might be interested in, but there’s way too many to list them all. Out of the ones I can remember, definitely Braid, PixelJunk Eden, Echochrome and Flower. Absolutely get Flower.

Guitar Hero / Rock Band / DJ Hero / SingStar
Portal (It comes packaged in the Orange Box – It has 5 games, but you’d probably only like Portal because the rest are first-person shooters) It’s also probably cheap by now.
Katamari Forever (The game looks ridiculous, but the fun you’ll have is just as ridiculous as how it looks)
